Generosity is a quality that prompts the believer to sacrifice his personal interest for the benefit of others in order to satisfy his Lord. We are pleased to offer our dear readers a new installment in the “Good Behavior” series with a fundamental theme: “Generosity”. Beyond rhetorical speeches, it is to sincere and committed practice that we call, to a practice of the heart, to an awakening of consciences, to the faithful follow-up of the model of good behavior par excellence: our Prophet Muhammad (saws).
Generosity, by Chawqi Chadli ( Inspired by the lectures of Sheikh Farid Al-Ansari ), " Good behavior" series
Generosity is a quality that prompts the believer to sacrifice his personal interest for the benefit of others in order to satisfy his Lord. Generosity in Islam does not only mean paying zakat which is a pillar of Islam and is of paramount importance, but also generously spending one's possessions, whether for oneself, one's family or others, and above all to do it for and by Allah!
This is why we are pleased to offer our dear readers a new installment in the series "Good behavior" with a fundamental theme: "Generosity". Beyond rhetorical speeches, we call for sincere and committed practice. To a practice of the heart, to an awakening of consciences, to the faithful follow-up of the model of good behavior par excellence: our Prophet Muhammad (saws).
The sources of inspiration for the writing of this work are numerous, but one in particular deserves to be mentioned: it is about one of the most illustrious Moroccan scholars in matters of spirituality, the late Sheikh Farîd al-Ansârî . May Allah have mercy on him and raise him to the highest degrees of Paradise!
