The Prophet of Islam, Muhammad, taught us that God has sprinkled throughout our existence particularly blessed people, places and moments. These are like privileges and bonuses offered to those who know how to seize them.

God distinguished humanity among His creatures, then He favored certain individuals over others. In the same way, He blessed and distinguished certain moments, certain days, certain months. However, only people with hearts awakened by His Grace can truly benefit from these heavenly favors.

In this work, Imam al-Bayraqî has brought together a large number of hadiths and varied traditions which deal with the virtues of particular times, days and months of the Hijri Muslim calendar, where acts of worship towards Allah are particularly beneficial spiritually and highly rewarded.

Brief biography of the author: Al-Bayhaqî

Al-Bayhaqî , eminent Shafi'ite traditionist and faqîh , born in 994 AD in Persia, was a major scholar having studied with numerous Shaykhs . His prolific literary production includes around a thousand fascicles, including the famous “ Kitâb al-Sunan al-Kubrâ ” in ten volumes, praised for its perfection. His life was dedicated to the preservation of Islamic tradition. He died in 458/1066 in Naysâbûr , leaving a lasting intellectual legacy in Islamic thought.
