This is a brief explanation of a useful and beneficial poem about the cleansing of hearts and their purification, as well as acting for their cleansing and preservation, and the clarification of the signs which prove the sanity of the heart and its righteousness, while mentioning great points that servants should observe to purify their hearts. This is followed by an exposition of the belief of the Sunnah People and the group, which is the basis for the purification of hearts and their rectification. Surely, hearts cannot be purified, nor rectified, nor be wholesome except by adopting the correct belief from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (SWS), Allah, Exalted be He, said meaning of the verses]:
“the day when neither property nor children will be of any use; except he who comes to Allah with a healthy heart." (Ash-Shu'arà-, 88-89).
The scholars said: “That is to say, healthy from all polytheism and all doubt, associating with Allah and doubting in the belief and religion of Allah, while also being preserved from persisting in innovations and disobediences.
The healthy heart is therefore the one that is preserved from all this. From this we understand that the rectification of the heart by the authentic belief drawn from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet is a necessary foundation for sanity and rectification of the heart. Since hearts will not be rectified and will not be sound, straight as it should be in the straight path of Allah, unless they are on the genuine, sound belief from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah's praises and His greetings be upon him.
