Moses and Pharaoh - The Hebrews in Egypt - What concordances of the Holy Books with History?

When modern knowledge sheds light on the origins of monotheistic religions

Judaism, Christianity and Islam are not based on legends or myths that would be reported by the Bible or the Koran. Their common primitive roots lie in the framework of the religious events which marked the stay of the Hebrews in ancient Egypt. Knowledge of the history of these has greatly benefited nowadays from newly acquired data from the various disciplines of Egyptology. Thus, certain hieroglyphic texts, recent archaeological discoveries and modern medical investigations of mummies have contributed to inserting religious events into the history of the country, an insertion hitherto discussed.
Today, we can precisely determine the date when Moses, a descendant of the first Hebrews who came from Palestine to Egypt four centuries earlier, was able to guide his brothers fleeing the country during the Exodus to the Promised Land, land of their ancestors, in the last quarter of the 13th century BC, during the reign of Pharaoh Mineptah. Isn't the annual commemoration of the Exodus the most important religious festival in Judaism?
This book relates a study of this stay to which Maurice Bucaille devoted many years, confronting the teachings of the Bible with the political history of ancient Egypt and establishing close concordances between the two. These biblical teachings are compared with those of the Quran on the same religious events. In addition, other details of the Koran shed additional light on the Pharaoh of the Exodus which has been corroborated by the investigations of his mummy in the field of forensic medicine. The demonstration of Dr. Maurice Bucaille, very meticulously and skilfully substantiated, is not without upsetting received ideas.
