Funeral rites such as washing the dead Muslim, wrapping him in a shroud, praying over him and burying him are practices that each of us can face. Hence the need to learn them, in accordance with prophetic teachings .
In this book, we first described the different stages of the funeral, from the washing of the dead to his burial, illustrated with explanatory photos. This methodology is followed by a presentation of some forty fatwas from eminent scholars. Finally, the work ends with the two hundred and forty-one innovations enumerated by Sheikh Al-Albâni .
We hope that this compilation of major pamphlets on funerals will benefit our readers, provide them with useful science and help them to fulfill their obligations towards their relatives or brothers in Islam by complying with the Sunnah and avoiding any innovation.
Let us implore Allah the Most Merciful to forgive all the dead Muslims, to allow us to join them contrite and worshiping no other deity but Him , and that His prayer and salvation be upon our Prophet, his family and his companions.
