No doubt prayer is a source of joy for those who love Allah and a pleasure for the soul of monotheists. It is also the garden of worshipers and a delight for the minds of those who meditate. It is through prayer that sincere beings assess their faith and it is prayer that allows those who walk towards Allah to appreciate the path traveled. Finally, prayer is a mercy that Allah has offered to His believing servants.

In this work, Ibn Al-Qayyim , "the doctor of hearts", presents to us in detail what the heart must feel and how it must behave during the performance of each of the gestures constituting the prayer. By putting into practice his words, the Muslim will then taste, by the permission of Allah, the pleasure of worship and the sweetness of prayer.
