Fatima Naseef was born in 1944 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Famous for her positions in favor of women's rights, she was for four years director of the department of Islamic studies at King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah. Today a teacher, she is the author of several books.

It is in the light of the Koran and the Sunna (tradition of the Prophet) that the author tries to enlighten us on all the rights and duties of women in Islam: social, religious, political and economic rights, duties as as daughter, wife and mother.
