The Faith of the Little Muslim, by Abderrazaq Mahri

One day, the angel Jibril came to see the Messenger of God and asked him: - Explain to me what al-iman (faith) is.

The Prophet (saw) replied: "It is to believe in God, in His angels, in His Books, in His messengers, in the last day, and to believe in destiny, good or bad." The angel Jibrîl said to him: "You told the truth"

As you can see, the Prophet (saw) explained that faith has six pillars. And it is very important to know and understand them if you want to keep your heart and soul pure. Nothing is more important in this world than believing in God and doing good deeds. Faith is an action of the heart and only God looks at what is in your heart.

By pronouncing the shahada (the attestation of faith) with your tongue you express your will and your determination to worship God, because worshiping God is the very reason for which he created you. At the end of the explanation of each pillar of faith, you will find a diagram and a quiz. The diagram is simple and its objective is to help you retain the essence of what you have just read. As for the quiz, it will allow you to test your knowledge and see if you have understood what you have read.
