An angry imam, Interview of Tareq Oubrou with Samuel Lieven ( Integration , secularism, violence)
The news keeps reminding us: the integration of Muslims, who have been present in France for decades, poses a problem. Should we talk about failure? Islam is scary. Faced with violence, suspicions, amalgams, Tareq Oubrou offers a bold and courageous analysis, which calls into question the dysfunctions of society as much as the attitude of leaders of the Muslim world. His "anger" is more akin to a deep and thoughtful revolt that is based on a demanding spirituality and never deviates from its goal: to improve integration and social cohesion by refusing all ostracism.
