The West was able to make its revolution at the right time, by deploying its mastery of technology and equipment, and by reinventing, in a way, the way of considering the present and the future. He chose, to do so, to cut himself off from the divine by creating himself, in a certain way, his own divinities. If the euphoria of the beginnings seemed to prove him right, the economic and political crises of recent decades have reminded him of an inalienable reality that the East has been able to maintain, despite its weaknesses. The East has not forgotten its history nor its past influence on the rest of the world. It is on these lands, and nowhere else, that the great monotheistic religious Traditions saw the birth of their prophets. These two worlds, which observe each other like earthenware dogs, need a reason to listen to each other and trust each other to come to their aid in order to build a serene and meaningful future. Who better than Islam can fulfill this role of conciliator? who better than Islam can remind everyone what it means to live? Who better than Islam can show the way to modern man and reach out to him to extricate himself from this abyss into which he fell while digging his own grave with his hands during his lifetime? We wanted, through this little booklet, to question history and understand how we were able to arrive at such a situation. We especially wanted to show and demonstrate that despite all the obstacles of this life, Islam could come to the aid of modern man.
