Every individual aspires to amass money through successful trading. However, we are all involved in a specific type of trade, because every morning when we wake up, we sell our soul either to Allah, which protects it from punishment, or to the Devil, which brings its ruin. Unfortunately, few people engage in the most successful trade, one that brings profits to the afterlife. Few people compete for the most valuable loot.

This work is dedicated precisely to this trade for the afterlife, that of good deeds. For prayer, fasting and almsgiving are commodities, as well as any work that brings the servant closer to Allah. However, any trade can be successful or unsuccessful, and so is this particular trade. Indeed, whoever believes in Allah and performs good deeds will obtain immense reward, while whoever abandons faith and good deeds will suffer irreparable loss.

Who is Abd al-Razzaq al-Badr?

Abd al-Razzaq al-Badr is a contemporary Muslim scholar. Son of the illustrious scholar of Hadith, Shaykh 'Abdel Mouhsin Al-Abbad, Abd al-Razzaq al-Badr was born on 11/22/1382 H, corresponding to 04/16/1963 in the city of Riyadh, Arabia Arabia. He studied under great scholars such as Sheikh Salih al-Fawzan and Sheikh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymin. He is now a professor at the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh.

Abd al-Razzaq al-Badr is known for his expertise in Islamic jurisprudence, belief, hadith and tafsir. He is also a renowned preacher and a prolific author. Among his most famous works, we can mention "10 ways to protect oneself from witchcraft and the evil eye", "The foundations of Muslim belief", "The prayer of the Prophet", "The stages of purification and prayer" and "The accounts of the prophets".
