The awakening of hearts - 33 sermons, AbdelKader Al Jîlânî

The translation of the book "Jalâ'u al afhâm" by Sheikh Abdel Kader Al Jîlânî that we present here, is composed of a set of sermons for both the elite and the common believers.

These are lessons on the psychic and moral plagues that hinder the relationship between man and his Lord. Sheikh Abdel Kader Al Jîlânî thus analyzes each scourge with a piercing eye that penetrates to the depths of the heart and looks at what there is, outside the presence of God -may He be exalted- by advocating the divine remedy prescribed by the Book of God and the sunnah of the Messenger of God (sws).

Indeed, envy, hypocrisy, greed, fragility of faith, impropriety, lack of politeness, injustice and others, are all scourges that the sheikh analyzes and for which he recommends remedies. As for the sincere believer, wishing to stimulate his heart in order to awaken it, he has in this book an example of the qualities and characteristics on which the sheikh insists, such as attachment to the Book of God and to the sunnah of his Messenger ( sws), patience, detachment from the things of this world, modesty, good character, love of God, contentment, good behavior, submission of soul, fear and hope...
