In order not to disobey them and to get closer to Allah the Most High through the love and benevolence that we feel for them...
Al imam An-nawawi in his interpretation of Sahih Muslim (16/111) said:
"Scholars have said: Piety includes family bonding, gentleness and service to parents, good relationship and companionship, obedience. All of these represent the best behaviors."
