It is one of the noble components of Islamic legislation since it consists in expressing gratitude towards the good that one has received and in granting benefactors the value they deserve. It is a symbol of the perfection and completeness of legislation and demonstrates that it considers and supports the rights of all. This is to be affixed to profane legislation, which does not recognize any merit in parents, does not guarantee them any and even goes so far as to ignore them and cause them harm.
