The Most High says: "Truly there are in the creation of the heavens and the earth and in the alternation of night and day so many signs for people endowed with intelligence who, standing, sitting or lying down, keep calling on Allah". S3. V190-191. And he said, "Therefore glorify the Lord at nightfall and at dawn! To him be praise in heaven and on earth; to him be praise in heaven and on earth; in the middle of the day!". S30. V17-18.
The Messenger of Allah said: "Allah says: 'I am with My servant when He evokes Me and his lips move in evocation of Me.'
Certainly, invocation represents devotion as the Prophet reminded us. It is the citadel of the believer, a refuge against Satan, the weapon to repel nuisances and dissipate calamities. Blessed is he who has Allah by his side and who lives under His protection, His love, His assistance and His help. Blessed also are those whom Allah has allowed to evoke Him often, taking the example of the Prophet who used to evoke Allah in all the circumstances of his life.
