و لله الأسماء الحسنى فادعوه بها
“To Allah belong the most beautiful names. Call on Him by these names”
One of the most effective causes which fortifies the faith and strengthens it, is found to be the knowledge of the sublime names of Allah mentioned in the Koran and the sunnah. The concern to understand them and to take them as means of worshiping Allah. Allah Most High says: “To Allah belong the most beautiful names. Call upon Him by these names and leave those who stray from them. They will be rewarded according to their deeds. » S7. V180. Furthermore, it is narrated in the two Sahihs from the hadith of Abi Hurayra, that the Prophet said: "Allah has ninety-nine Names, one hundred minus one." Whoever memorizes them will enter paradise.” That is to say, he who memorizes them and understands their meanings and purposes, who uses them to praise Allah and asks Him with it, will enter Paradise. one of the best means of obtaining faith, of strengthening it and consolidating it.
