The Islamic precepts relating to the newborn, of Imam Chamsou-Din Ibn Al-Qayyim Al-Jaouziya (Revised and corrected edition)

Reference : 9782350060286

Allah has established a set of rules that govern the existence of man from his coming to earth until the day when he will gain his eternal home in the next world. Even before that, when he was in the three darknesses (womb, womb and placenta) man was already subject without restriction to the natural laws of Allah. After his birth, divine orders now apply to him through his interposed parents or those who have him under their guardianship. Allah has indeed prescribed injunctions which must apply to the minor child through his tutor. Then, once he becomes an adult, they address him directly and he becomes responsible for his actions.

Islamic precepts relating to the newborn

The Islamic precepts relating to the newborn , by Imam Shamsou-Din Ibn Al-Qayyim Al-Jaouziya

Allah has indeed prescribed injunctions which must apply to the minor child through his guardian. Then, once he has reached the age of majority, they address him directly and he becomes responsible for his actions and the legal provisions relating to disbelievers or Muslims now apply to him. At this point, he actually begins to move towards the abode of the blessed or that of the damned. He thus travels through all the stages, day and night, to the abode to which he was predestined, borrowing from these stages the causes that lead there and performing the appropriate acts there as so many milestones. At the end of the journey, he reaches the habitat that was built for him before his creation: either the abode of misfortune, or that of happiness.
