The regularity and the respect of the number of verses imposed per day, is the way adopted by the scholars in the learning of the epistles.
Imam Az-Zuhri, may Allah have mercy on him, said: “We have certainly acquired this science by a hadith, then two, a legal opinion, then two. »
Is considered a scholar who has memorized the epistles. Shaykh Al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah said: “Whoever memorizes the epistles will obtain knowledge. »
We can therefore only obtain a solid foundation by learning the basics in each of the sciences.
Sheikh Al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah said: "While he (the student of religious sciences) makes the effort to be patient in learning, memorizing for each science an epistle, referring to the righteous words of the Prophet ( SWS).
