The present Literacy Tome is the first manual of a series of six whose objective is to teach the Arabic language, from beginning to end, with a methodology designed for the French-speaking public. This first volume is thus devoted to literacy, that is to say to the teaching of reading, writing and dictation, as well as to the teaching of the elementary bases of the rules of Koranic recitation ( at-tajwid ) . We wish to provide the necessary tools to the student so that he can easily overcome the language barrier, which separates him from reading the Best of the Revealed Books.

The Quran is Arabic and is not in any other language, so it is incumbent on us to read it in its original language in order to benefit from the great rewards and merits that come with it. We must no longer depend on a translation or phonetics which most often leads to errors of pronunciation and recitation Thus, this manual will allow you first of all to master the reading of the Arabic language and then will bring you the essential notions Tajwid , applied in French, to improve your recitation of suras.
