God has chosen men among His creatures to be His Messengers, these are the Prophets. He further elected Muhammad - may Allah bless him and grant him peace - and made him the Seal of the Prophets and elected men and women to be his Companions, who supported him from during his lifetime and carried on his tradition after his death.
