This book is a journey, an encounter between men who lived several centuries ago and us. It takes us to the heart of the early days of Islam to try to understand our complex present. He reminds the Muslims of our time that he was men who knew how to give their goods and their lives for God. Men who were common beings but who were able to rise and grow in the light of the Koran and the prophetic heritage. If the companions managed to carry the heritage of the Prophet (SWS), it is because they had a personal requirement greater than that which they could carry towards their community. They knew they had to change themselves first before seeking to change others.
