The summary of the Authentic of Al-Bukhari according to Az-Zabidi:

The work of Imam Az-Zabidi in "Al-Tajrid As-Sarih li-ahadith al-jami' as-sahih" consists in stripping the Sahih of Al-bukhari which has 7563 hadith distributed in 98 titles of repeated hadith as well as chains of transmitters by mentioning only the names of the initial reporters, namely the Companions, or sometimes the names of the Companions of the Companions (tabi'i). He kept only 2230 hadith distributed in 87 titles.

It has thus enabled ordinary Muslims to have easier access to the tradition of the Prophet (SWS) and to know without difficulty the essence of their religion. Imama Az-Zabidi (one of the regions of Yemen) in the year 812 of the Hegira (1409 of the Christian era) and died there in the year 893 (1487). Of Hanafi obedience, Imam Az-Zabidi is one of Zabid's best-known traditionists.

He is the author of numerous works, notably “Al-fawa'id fi as-Silat wa al-'Awa'id which is a collection of hadith and invocations; "Tabaqat al-Khawas Ahl As-Sidq wa al-khlas" which he dedicated to the Sufis of Yemen, who had not mentioned in the books dedicated to the classes of Sufis like Ar-Risala of Al-Qushayri and Tabaqat as -Sufiya of As-Sulami; and the present collection entitled "At-Tajrid As-Sarih li-ahadith al-jami' as-Sahih".
