The Tafsîr Muyassar was produced by a group of contemporary scholars recognized in the field of interpretation of the Koran and supervised by Sheikh Sâlih Ibn 'Abd al-'Azîz Âl al-Shaykh. It was later published in Arabic by the King Fahd complex for printing the Noble Quran of Medina in millions of copies.
It has been designed to highlight the meaning of Quran words and phrases in a concise and easy to understand manner. The interpretation of the meaning follows the methodology of the pious predecessors by basing itself on the most authentic texts and by adopting the opinion making the most consensus among scholars.
