Rather than revive an old tedious debate on that of "women in Islam", it seemed to us much preferable to try to reconstruct the atmosphere that was that of the female entourage of its founder.
More eloquent than the arguments of "for" and "against", the few anecdotes that we present in this work allow us to get a very different idea of the relationships established between the two sexes at the dawn of the ultimate revelation.
Even if the woman occupies the rank that is proper to her, she does not hesitate to speak out on the most serious subjects with a boldness that obviously contradicts the image of a servile woman devoid of the slightest consideration.
