Her name is Khadija bint Khuwaylid. His lineage was noble and honorable. Already, at the time of the djahiliya (pre-Islamic period), she was renowned in Mecca for her chastity and sincerity, to such an extent that she was nicknamed "the pure" and considered to be the mistress of Quorishite women. .
At forty, she married the Prophet (sws) who was twenty five years old. First person to embrace Islam, she was at the side of the Messenger of God (sws) in all the trials bringing him emotional and material support. She is the only one with whom he had children. She died the same year as Abu Talib, the other supporter of the Prophet (sws). This year was nicknamed by Muslims, the Year of Sadness.
