Aisha, wife of the Prophet of Islam (sws)

Aicha was the daughter of Abu Bakr, the close friend of the Prophet (sws). Born towards the end of the fourth year of the mission of the Prophet (sws), she is part of the first generation of children who grew up in a Muslim household. As a young girl, her awakened mind was quickly picking up the lights of revelation. His father built a small mosque in the courtyard of his house where he prayed and recited the Koran. Little Aicha passionately collected the practices of Islam. She was, from an early age, endowed with a great sense of responsibility. After the hijra, the Prophet (sws) married her and became the Mother of believers. Her presence in the prophetic home made her a privileged witness in the transmission of the Sunna. She transmitted a large number of privately attractive hadiths. After the death of the Beloved, she took part in the social and political life of the ummah, especially under the caliphate of 'Uthman and Ali.
