Behold the Prophet, by Moncef Zenati

The West has created a totally erroneous image of the Prophet ( SAWS ) , an image inherited from the Crusades, an image which presents the Prophet ( SAWS ) as a man who appeared in Arabia, falsely claiming to be a prophet and to receive revelation, sword in hand cutting off heads and making his own any pretty woman he saw! This false image still persists to the present day.

The controversies supported by the West against the Prophet ( SAWS ) are aimed at both his message and his person. The controversies aimed at its message consist in conveying the idea that Islam is a violent and bloodthirsty religion. As for the controversies concerning the person of the Prophet ( SAWS ) , they present the Prophet ( SAWS ) as being an impostor, a woman 's man under the pretext that he marries several women.

Few Westerners have had the opportunity to study objectively, freed from this fantasy representation of Islam and its Prophet ( SAWS ) . Those who have done it have come to respect, fascinate and admire it.
