God Most High says:
{قُلْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّه فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُم ْ اللَّه وَيَغْفِر لَكُمْ ذُنُوبكُمْ وَاَللَّهغَفُور رَحِيم}
{Say: If you really love God, follow me, then God will love you and forgive you your sins. God is Forgiving and Merciful}
The Messenger of Allah (صلّى الله عليه وسلّم) said:
"There is reserved for every prophet an answered invocation, which, when he formulates it, God will accede to his request. Mine, I will reserve for the day of resurrection, when I will implore God to intercede in favor of my community" [Reported by Muslim]
