Know, dear brother, dear sister, that the importance of a science depends on the benefits it provides as much in this world as in the next. But the need to know the true dogma of Islam exceeds any other need, because the servant cannot live in happiness and serenity without knowing his Lord in His names, attributes and in his deeds.

The more the servant knows his Lord with discernment, the more he loves Him, venerates Him, scrupulously observes His orders and moves away from His prohibitions. It is thus that he enjoys happiness in this present life and hopes in the future, aspiring to become a Muslim of impeccable faith and exemplary conduct, for the behavior and ideas of a believer depend on the dogma that he adopts.

The source of knowledge of the Oneness of Allah and religious dogma comes from the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Peace and Prayer of Allah be upon him. However, only scholars are in a position to identify their legal statutes and rules and to place them, as well as the lessons that flow from them, within the reach of ordinary people.

This is why Allah said: [So ask the people of remembrance (the scholars) if you do not know]. In the hope of being counted among those who spread good, we have translated some fatwas from eminent scholars (Al-Albânî, Ibn-Bâz, Al-'Uthaymîn, Ibnu-Jibrîn, etc.) which answer questions often asked about dogma by people today that corrects some false beliefs.
