The two main sources of Islam, the Koran and the Hadith, contain many teachings on the nature of love – both human and divine – and on its significance in the spiritual life of the believer. The introductory study, which constitutes the first part of this work, clearly exposes the ways of acquiring love as well as its transforming effects on the human being. This study also makes it possible to become acquainted with the light on love that the masters of wisdom in Islam have given from the first centuries to the contemporary era. The anthology of hadiths offers, for its part, the opportunity to immerse oneself in the beauty of the prophetic teachings on the multiple dimensions of love. There are thus forty pearls, each more precious than the other, which are proposed for the reader's meditation.
