Surah La Caverne on CD recited by Mohamed Kamel and translated into French.

Al Kahf (The Cave) is a Meccan Surah with 110 verses.

It is one of the 5 suras which started with 'Thank God' (Alhamdu Lilah) in addition to Fatiha, Al Anam, Saba' and Fater.

It was named thus from the ninth verse which quotes the story of the people of the Cave (Ahl Al Kahf): '' Do you realize that the People of the Cave and of Ar-Raqîm constituted a marvel of Our signs? ? ''.

These three questions were: - Who were the "People of the Cave" (Ashab Al Kahf)?

- What is the story of Al-Khedr?

- What do you know about Dhû Al-Qarnayn? These stories come from the traditions of the other People of the Book (Jews and Christians) and are unknown to the Arabs of Quraysh. At the end of the Surah God invited the disbelievers to take advantage of his stories and believe in the message of his prophet -peace and blessings be upon him-: ''The uniqueness of the Creator and the hereafter are absolute truths . For your own good, you must believe in them, comply with what they imply in your life, and act in the belief that you will be accountable to Allah. If you don't comply, you will waste your life here and everything you do will be wasted.
