The world is changing, is the Koran still current? This is the question and the challenge posed by the modern world. But this challenge is nothing new. Diversity and novelty are not new: they have always been part of the conditions in which divine wisdom had to reveal itself and materialize.
Anyone, of any religion and philosophy of life, who wishes to discover the universal wisdom of the Quran; any student who is looking for an introduction to Tafsir (explanation) and the language of the Koran, may find it interesting to read it.
It approaches the Koran through concepts and themes that open on essential questions. To define the concepts is based on two approaches: the method of explanation of the Koran by the Koran itself, developed in particular by shaykh Tâhâ Jâbir al-'AIwânï ; and the method of explanation developed by Ismâ'îl Râjî al-Fârüqî , which consists in relating all subjects to the great idea of Islam: al-Tawhîd .
These two methods make it possible to understand each concept in its "conceptual ecosystem" and to open up to the Koranic vision of the world.
