The Exegesis of the Noble Quran in 4 volumes in French by Ibn Kathîr

`Imâd ad-Dîn abû al-Fidâ' 'Ismâ`îl ben `Umar ben Kathîr or Ibn Kathîr, Muslim Arab jurist and historian, born in 1301 in Bosra in southern Syria. Ibn Kathir died in February 1373 in Damascus. Ibn Kathîr is the author of a commentary on the Exegesis of the Noble Quran (tafsir). Ibn Kathir relates the verses of the Noble Qur'an to the hadiths of the sunnah. The commentary on the Koran by Ibn Kathîr is famous and one of the most widespread.

This work is a translation of the summary of the exegesis of the Noble Koran of Ibn Kathîr in four volumes translated by Messaoud Boudjenoun Universal edition. In the introduction to his exegesis, this Muslim scholar exposes the best method for the explanation of Koranic verses. He said: The fairest method is to explain the Quran by the Quran.
