Abridged Exegesis of Surah Ya-Sin from Tafsir Ibn Kathir:

In the name of Allah the Most Merciful, the Most Merciful

    Virtues of Sura Ya Sin
Al Hasan reports that he heard Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) say: The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa salam) told us:

“He who recites Ya sin during the night will wake up forgiven of his sins, just like he who recites Sura The Smoke. »
And the chain of narrators of this hadith is good (jayyid). Ibn Hibban also reports in his collection of authentic Hadiths, according to Jondob ibn 'Abdillah, that the Messenger of Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) said:
“Whoever recites Ya Sin at night, for the face of Allah, will be forgiven. »

Ya Sin Sura 36. Verse 1-7

“Ya Sin, by the wise Quran. You are certainly one of the Messengers, on a straight path. It is a revelation from the Almighty, the Most Merciful, so that you warn a people whose ancestors have not been warned: they are therefore careless. Because the Word against most of them has come true, so they won't believe. »

The Messenger of Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) was sent as a warner.
We have already spoken about the meaning of the isolated letters at the beginning of the exegesis of surat Al Baqara (The cow). Allah says: "By the Qur'an full of wisdom" That is to say that it is unequivocal and that falsity cannot reach it from anywhere.
    "Thou art certainly 'O Muhammad!
“From the number of Messengers, on a straight path” you follow a way, a religion and a straight Law.

“It is a Revelation from the Almighty, the Most Merciful. That is to say, the way to which you call is a Revelation from the Lord of Might, who is full of mercy for His believing servants. Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) says in another verse:

“And verily you guide to a straight path, the path of Allah to whom belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth. Yes, it is towards Allah that things go" (42:52,53)
Then Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) adds:
“so that you warn a people whose ancestors have not been warned: they are therefore careless”

The verse refers to the Arabs to whom no warner was sent before him. However, the fact that the only Arab that was mentioned does not mean that other peoples are not concerned. Similarly, citing certain people in particular does not necessarily exclude others from the subject. Moreover, the verses and multiple hadiths proving that the mission of the Prophet (sallahou alayhi wa salam) is universal have already been cited in the interpretation of the verse:
"Say: 'O men! I am the Messenger of Allah to you all” (7:158)
