The Quran says: Those who believed in him (the Prophet), who supported him; who will have followed the Light descended with him (The Koran), these are the ones who will be happy! (7.158). The revelation of the Koran is one of the last blessings, which Allah has decided to address to humanity, to save it from the disaster in which it rushes by its disbelief and its recklessness. Today's world is a world of enjoyment, corruption, worship of money, power and worldliness. Also, reason is subject to all sorts of attractions. But the goal that was set by Allah, the Lord of the Universe, is much more sublime than that of existing for a few seconds on the scale of universal time and to feast, before disappearing forever, like a fleeting mirage. The mission entrusted to the human being is far more noble and more sublime. Life on earth, by itself, is minute compared to the afterlife which is the true goal of universal creation. After the ephemeral existence, it is the reign of eternity and immortality which will be instituted. Both for the deserving blessed, who will access the delights of a paradise of flowers and light, and for the unbelievers, who throughout their lives have persisted in denying the evidence, and who will find themselves confronted with their works. The great divine Truth will then appear in all its light to reinforce the sacred teaching, which has never ceased to be derided or rejected by the foolish.
