Abdelnour Bilingual Dictionary (AR/FR – FR/AR) -150,000 words:

The origins of this book date back to 1970, when the first dictionary entitled “Al-Manhal” was published.

This one, whose co-authors were MM.J, Abdelnour and S.Idriss, knew from its publication a great success both in the Arabists, it was likewise reported as a cultural event on the occasion of numerous returned counts published in different countries. (including France, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia, Morocco, and especially Algeria where an intensive and fruitful work of Arabization was beginning to gain momentum thanks to eminent learned linguists). These reviews highlighted the significant and original progress that was thus achieved in the design of bilingual dictionaries, particularly in the Franco-Arabic sense.

To our knowledge, and until now, no other work of this kind has been able to replace it or bring new elements capable of improving its structure or modifying the basic principles that were adopted in its formulation.

Today, and symmetrically to the "Abdelnour", Arabic-French already published by the same publisher, the present French-Arabic "Abdelnour" this time, but in a spirit of continuity with the previous dictionary, has three main easily recognizable characteristics which give it its original character because it is typical.
