    The Noble Qur'an reveals to us the story of the slander in sura " An-Nûr ", recounting the facts in detail , and proclaiming the innocence of 'Â'isha -may Allah be pleased with her" of all that she has endured as injustices and moral prejudices.

    This event revealed the merit of 'A'isha . Indeed, Allah cleared him of this slander with verses which are read until the day of resurrection; verses by which Muslims worship their Lord, such as this:

    ( Those who came with slander are a group of you) [ An-Nûr : 11 ] . Thus the rank of 'A'isha - may Allah be pleased with him - became all the more eminent because Allah Himself had declared his innocence.

    Moreover, this test confirmed the obligation to ensure the veracity of the words before spreading them, so as not to fall into lies and injustice, and in order not to become the cause of the propagation of rumors and turpitudes. Regarding this, Allah says: (And why did you not say, when you heard it: We must not talk about it. Glory be to You [O Allah]. This is a huge slander) [ An-Nûr : 16 ]
