About the Author: Salih Ahmad al-Shami
Sâlih Ahmad al-Shâmî Born in 1934 in Syria on the outskirts of Damascus, he studied from his earliest youth with many eminent personalities at the Institute of Religious Sciences in Damascus. He taught in Syria until 1980, before becoming a teacher in the institutes attached to the Muhammad Ibn Su'ûd Islamic University in Riyadh until 1998. Since then, he has devoted himself to writing and is the author of numerous works in various fields such as the Sunna, the Sîra, spirituality, etc.
