The demon attaches itself to the heart of the son of Adam, if he shows negligence and indifference; he whispers evil to him - waswâs - but he evokes Allah, he slips away.

From there, it seems clear to us that the devil can enter the body of man; he prefers the heart as a place, because he is related to the chief and the organs are his soldiers. So if it takes hold of the heart, the organs submit.

But there are hearts surrounded by walls of faith, strongholds of piety where the mentions of Allah -adh-dikr- are the guardians. The demon can only access it stealthily, but it is quickly chased by the guardians (mentions) out of the fortress, blamed and pushed back.

This book proposes to present the ramparts of faith and to teach their practices to ensure to the Moslem and to his hearth a total protection against the evil of the jinns and satan.
