This book is a summary of the interesting work "The degrees of itinerant between the spiritual dwellings which fall under the verse [ It is You whom we adore and it is to You whom we ask help] of Imam Ibn Qayyim al -Jawziyya , and which is an important reference in the journey towards our Creator among Muslims.
I have tried in summarizing it to make it more accessible, because its author, who has extensively developed each of these spiritual dwellings -manâzil- and formulated many questions relating to them, gives the impression to many readers that he is one of the eminent works intended only for people versed in religious science, which discourages them from reading it. Moreover, we live in a time when the lack of time makes it difficult for us to read great books.

This work, dear reader , is very famous: one of the best works of Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim . He brought together the “abodes” of worship. The acts of obedience, ethics and the rules of propriety which are included in the word of Allah the Most High : [It is You whom we worship and it is You whom we ask for help] , word that conceals the secret of the sura that opens the Koranic text.
I implore Allah-Exalted be He-to accept this humble effort on my part and to benefit His servants. He is the most generous of those asked and He loves to grant. Praise be to Allah who by His grace accomplishes righteous works.
