The Way of Patience (Abridged from the book "'Uddatu As-sabirin"), of Ibn Al-Qayyim, by Dr. Ahmad b.'Uthman Al-Mazîd, Hadiths verified from the books of Shaukh Al-Albâni

Allah has made patience a horse that does not flinch, a sword that does not break, an invincible army and a fortified fortress. This means that patience is closely linked to success. In His glorious Book, Allah, The Truthful, has guaranteed patient people that He will give them their reward beyond all counts and He has declared that He is with them to guide them, support them and make them triumph. ; patients have enjoyed what is best in this world and the Hereafter and have obtained outward benefits and inner benefits. Allah has declared that He loves patients, which must further impel seekers to adorn themselves with this virtue. He announced to the patients three good tidings, each of which is better than anything coveted by the people of this world, the descent upon them of indulgences, the mercy of their Lord and guidance to good. He considered obtaining Paradise and salvation from Hell as a degree of merit that is only available to patients. It is thanks to their patience that the blessed live a good life and it is thanks to their recognition that they have reached the high degrees of merit . If they were able to "fly" towards the Paradise of Delights, it is thanks to their two wings: the wing of patience and the wing of recognition.

Thus this book has been composed to show the necessary need for these two virtues and that happiness in this world and in the hereafter greatly depends on them. It is a very instructive summary book, containing teachings which deserve that one sticks to it firmly.
