Allah created man and woman and disposed them to multiple natures: between anger and gentleness, eagerness and patience, laughter and tears, sadness and joy. Sadness is a human nature, which is permitted in certain circumstances and condemned in others. Anyone who analyzes the condition of many people today will find that among them some carry a sadness that leads to despair and frustration, and causes stress that physically depresses them and afflicts them morally.

This is the reason why I decided, seeking help from Allah, to write on this subject, from a religious and educational point of view, while demonstrating the causes of sadness and what is leads, the ways of dealing with it, in order to comfort the saddened and relieve the afflicted. So if your trials are overwhelming you, this book is for you. Its main message is beneficial advice with an all-important reminder: “Do not be sad, Allah is your Lord”.
