Prayer is the backbone of religion, the grandest of apparent works of worship, and the second pillar of the Muslim faith. Its fulfillment is therefore one of the most important individual obligations that Allah has prescribed after the knowledge of Tawhîd . The Most High says : ( And perform prayer, and perform legal alms, and bow with those who bow ) (Al Baqara : 43) . It also requires to be performed in the same way as the Messenger of Allah ( Sws ) as he said: “ Pray as you have seen me pray ! »

Nowadays, it escapes no one that many individuals are unaware of the Prophet's ( sws ) way of praying. However, the problem present in a considerable number of brothers and sisters revealing good and righteousness, informed about the description of the prayer of the prophet ( sws ) and anxious to fulfill it, lies in their ignorance of its conditions or obligations, even of its pillars. Worse still, they are ignorant of the conditions linked to ritual purity which represents the key to prayer!
The writing The conditions of the prayer, its pillars and its obligations is a concise epistle of the imam and reformer, Sheikh al-Islâm Muhammad Ibn 'Abd Al-Wahhâb ( Rahimahu allah ) which gathers the conditions, the obligations and the pillars of prayer. This symbolizing the second and most important of the pillars following the two attestations of Faith.
This book is therefore most beneficial , especially for beginners and ordinary Muslims. But much more, Allah has made it useful for the mass of people as well as for his elite!
The Shaykh 'Abd al-Muhsin Ibn Hamad al-'abbad al-Badr has contributed to this beneficial work a most distinguished, precise, and instructive condensed commentary.
