Is a Muslim obliged to follow one of the 4 schools? Shaykh Al-Ma'sûmî - What to do in the face of scholarly differences? Shaykh Bazmoul
This work, entitled "The History of Jurisprudence Explained by Scholars: From the Origins to the Present," examines the need for Muslims to follow one of the 4 schools, also addressing the management of differences among scholars. Faced with the perplexity of French-speaking Muslims towards schools of jurisprudence, the work offers a solution in three parts. The first explores the history of the schools, from their emergence to the present day, as a book of history and theology. The second answers the question of the obligation to follow a school, while the third, led by Shaykh Bâzmûl, deals with the divergences between scholars, offering practical advice.

The History of Jurisprudence Explained by Scholars
From origins to today
Is a Muslim obliged to follow one of the 4 schools? Shaykh Al-Ma'sûmî
What to do in the face of scholarly disagreements? Shaykh Bazmoul
Disconcerted when he hears about schools of jurisprudence, the failing culture of the French-speaking Muslim does not allow him to fully grasp all the subjects related to them. This work aims to remedy this in three parts:
The first traces the history of these schools, the context of their appearance, their founders, their methodology, their evolution up to the present day. Which makes it a book of history and theology at the same time.
The second is the response of Shaykh Sultan Al Ma'sûmî to converts from Japan who were suggested to follow this or that school of jurisprudence. Not understanding, they questioned the scholar: Are we obliged to follow a school of jurisprudence?
The third answers the question that every Muslim asks himself when he is told that there is divergence between scholars: What to do? What opinion to choose and what attitude to adopt? Shaykh Bâzmûl, professor at the University of Mecca, is responsible for explaining all this.
