The prophetic ethics of community relations according to Dr. Raghib El Serjany :

In the prophetic ethics of intercommunity relations, Doctor Raghib El Serjany presents, through specific examples of the behavior of the Prophet Muhammed (SWS), the prophetic and Islamic vision of relations based on race, skin color or religion: she considers the human being as the most noble of creatures on earth.

Relations with all human beings are therefore based on this high vision, which grants the human being his rightful place. During his reading of this book, the reader will be able to immerse himself in the relations of the Prophet (SWS) with those who did not share his religion and his convictions, but also with his adversaries and his enemies: relations and an ethics of behavior based on respect, kindness and justice. At a time when so many false ideas are conveyed about the supposed violence of Islam or its inability to recognize the other, this study based on authenticated accounts highlights the principles of an ethics imbued with nobility and of mercy where the other has full right of citizenship.

Doctor Raghib El Serjany was born in Egypt in 1964. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Cairo. He completed the memorization of the Koran in 1991. He then obtained the Magister at Cairo University in 1992, then defended in 1998 a doctoral thesis on urinary tract surgery, under the joint supervision of Egyptian and American professors.

Doctor El Serjany teaches at the Faculty of Medicine of Cairo University. He is the chairman of the board of directors of the Center for Historical Studies in Cairo. He is also the initiator and supervisor of the website "The History of Islam", www.islamstory.com, the most important website dedicated to Muslim history.

This Muslim researcher and thinker has a particular interest in Muslim history. His intellectual project, "Building the Best Community Together", is based on a precise and exhaustive study of Muslim history.

Dr. El Serjany has published more than thirty books on the history of Islam and Muslim thought, works of which several have won prizes. The prophetic ethics of intercommunity relations is the first of his books to appear in French.
