Reference : 9782875450197

The religion of Islam represents the ultimate message of Allah addressed to men and jinns. This is the reason why this message is supposed to hold characteristic traits which make it applicable at all times and in all places, and for all the nations of the earth. Thus, the most sublime and eminent of these qualities is moderation.

The golden mean in the da'wa according to 'Abd Allah al-Luhaydan:

The Muslims of Europe have a heavy responsibility: that of becoming ambassadors of the Muslim faith. The first role of the ambassador is to represent worthily and virtuously the person who sends him.

This noble and heavy responsibility is coupled with another equally important one: that of transmitting the message. This transmission, this call, this da'wa can only bear fruit if it is accomplished in accordance with the prophetic model. The Messenger (SWS) has never ceased, in his deeds, words and behavior, to guide his community towards the happy medium.

Alas, today, Muslims who devote themselves to the da'wa do so for the most part without science, without wisdom and above all far from the happy medium.

As a result, their da'wa does more harm to Islam and Muslims than good.

It repels people from Islam by scaring them and giving them a distorted image of the true values of the last religion revealed to Humanity.

It was therefore urgent to present a book that looks into this problem and teaches, through the Koran and the sunnah, the correct and healthy way of transmitting the message of Islam and thus of concretizing the divine word:

“Let there be issued from you a community which calls for good, commands what is proper, and forbids what is blameworthy. Because they're going to succeed ".

This book has two main parts divided into several chapters, as follows:

  • Part 1: Characteristics of moderation in preaching to non-Muslims:
- Chapter 1: Fairness
- Chapter 2: Excellence
- Chapter 3: Compassion
  • Part 2: Aspects of moderation in preaching to non-Muslims:
- Chapter 1: Moderation in the appeal to Allah in respect of the method of the Koran and the Sunnah.
- Chapter 2: Moderation in the method.
- Chapter 3: Moderation when gradually inviting people to Islam.
- Chapter 4: Moderation in association with non-Muslims.
- Chapter 5: Moderation in exhorting non-Muslims.
- Chapter 6: Moderation in the ease offered when inviting non-Muslims.
- Chapter 7: Moderation in incitement and deterrence.
- Chapter 8: Moderation in preaching by example.
