Allah سبحانه و تعالى chose these companions for his Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم with knowledge and wisdom. It is incumbent on all of us to attach great importance and pay particular attention to it. They are the best men after the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم . As Allah says so well in the following verse:
( You are the best community that has arisen for men) {sura Al-'Imran / The family of Imran: 110}
The first concerned by this verse are the companions of the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم . They are affected by this praise in the first instance.
