The eminent qualities of the Messenger of ALLah (SWS): His physical description and his noble morality according to Ibn Katir

This book by Ibn Katir allows the reader to know the stature of the Prophet (SWS), his eminent degree and the perfect qualities with which Allah (Subhanou wa ta'ala) distinguished him. In doing so, the heart of the reader can only attach itself even more to his person, by loving him, by venerating him and by following his way and his guidance. It will therefore become for him a light with which he will illuminate himself and a guide thanks to which he will guide himself, by virtue of these words of the Most High: “To obey the Messenger is to obey Allah; those who turn away from it, we have not sent you to watch over them” . S4. V80.

Those who came after the companions kept asking them about the physical characteristics and the moral and spiritual virtues of the Messenger of Allah for the sake of them taking him as an example and model. Their desire to conform to the moral and spiritual behavior of the Prophet (SWS) was such, for they wanted to be among those about whom the Messenger of Allah (SWS) said: "Among the people of my community who greatest love, there are people who will come after me and who will want to give their families and possessions just to see me”.
