All the prophecies we have seen speak of a prophet like Moses, raised up from among the brothers of the Israelites. He does not speak on his own (DEUTERONOMY, 18:15-22). Expected by the Jews, and until the time of Jesus he had not yet appeared (JOHN, 1: 19-25). He is not the son of David (MATTHEW, 22: 41-44). He will testify of Jesus, will come after him and confound the world in matters of sin, righteousness and judgment (JOHN 15:26; 16:7-8).

Expected of the Sectarians of Qumran with two messiahs, to whom the rod of command and the insignia of the lawgiver will be given and consequently removed from Judah (GENESIS, 49: 10), he is a valiant warrior, he fights for the cause of truth and justice. He is the most handsome of men. He will be obeyed by peoples and he will overcome many nations. Daughters of kings will be among his favorites (wives), kings will send him presents and gifts, his sons will reign after him (PSALMS, 45: 2-18; 72: 1-17; ESAIA, 42: 1-9 ).

He brings forth a nation in an extraordinary way that will turn the world upside down (ESAIE, 66:7-9). This nation is despised by the Jews, it is foolish (DEUTERONOMY, 32: 21).

The kingdom will be transmitted to him to produce its fruits (MATTHEW, 21: 33-44). A new religion (the new Song) will be established among the sons of Kedar and Nebayoth (son of Ishmael) (ESAIE, 42: 9'17; 60: 15-16).

The sons of Ishmael and all the Arabs will gather in a holy city to offer burnt offerings on the altar of God and to serve the house of God (ESAIA, 60:15-16).

This house will be served by kings. The inhabitants of this city will spread to the right (East) and to the left (West), will overcome the nations and will inherit them (ISAIAH, 54: 9-17).

They were previously in darkness and worshiped idols (ESAIA, 54:17). They will outnumber the Israelites (ESAIA, 54:1). They will outnumber the Israelites (ESAIAE, 54:1).

Divine revelation will appear at Teman and at the mountain of Pâran in Arabia (Deuteronomy, 33: 1-3, ESSAY 35; Habaquq 3: 1-3). Peace will be restored in this place (ESSAÏ, 60).

This prophet will mobilize his nation and establish the kingdom of God which will destroy the fourth (Roman) empire as well as the others (DANIEL, 2:31-45; 7:1-28).

At the time of Jesus ('Alayh salam) the advent of this kingdom was near (MATTHEW, 3: 1-2; 4: 17; MARK, 1:15; LUKE, 9:1-2)

All these characteristics, are they not those of the Prophet Mohammad (sws), of the Arab nation, of Mecca, of Arabia and of the Islamic civilization?
