ADVICE OF IMAM ADH-DHAHABI FOR THE STUDY OF RELIGIOUS SCIENCES:

The study of religious sciences is a duty for the believer. This one must know at least the elementary bases which will allow him to perfect his religious practice. That said, the believer who wishes to deepen his knowledge, by continuing his studies, must conform to and obey certain rules of conduct dictated by the Koran and the sunna. These rules, Imam Adh-Dahabî mentioned them, in a scattered way, in his biographical work entitled "Siyar a'Iâm an-nubalâ". They are brought together in this book.
